How can I help my employees get a company bike?
From region to region, there are several types of assistance. On a national scale, you have the Mobility Plan.
Employeur (PDME) as well as the OEPV label, which provides financial and methodical support for the creation of an internal mobility plan for your company. The LOM law, coupled with a societal concern about our carbon impact, has prompted public authorities and private players to set up a program tailored to each company.
Are bicycles insured?
All Vélotino bikes are insured against theft and breakage 7d/24h anywhere in France. You can also include 7-day/24-hour assistance and towing, third-party liability coverage and personal accident coverage.
IS A COMPANY BICYCLE A BENEFIT IN KIND?
The company bicycle is not considered by URSSAF as a benefit in kind. Indeed, the aim behind this measure is to encourage companies to promote cycling as an alternative means of transport and thus reduce their carbon impact. In line with this, employees are free to use their company bicycles on both business and personal time.
How can you equip your employees with a company bike?
It’s very simple, Vélotino will help you define your corporate cycling policy. A study of your employees’ needs and usage will help define the level of safety equipment, type of bike and associated guarantees for their daily home-to-work commute. The company then defines how the monthly payment is to be shared between the employer and the employee.
What are the tax benefits for companies offering company bicycles?
Companies that equip their employees with bicycles for daily use, particularly for commuting, benefit from a tax rebate of 25% of the sums incurred for this service and a benefit-in-kind tax exemption by URSSAF.
